Valcour Island Sunset Tour

Join us for our Valcour Island Sunset Tour on Lake Champlain. Come watch the fabulous sunset over the Adirondack Coast and enjoy a relaxing paddle on Lake Champlain. This is a very casual tour designed for any ability, and a great way to end the day.

Bluff Point Lighthouse Tour

Placed in service in 1874, the Bluff Point Lighthouse was one of the last lighthouses to be manned on Lake Champlain. It guided ships through the narrow passageway between the Island and the New York shorefor Almost 60 years. Let the Kayak Shack guides lead you to the lighthouse for a fascinatinf self tour and then enjoy some paddling near Valcour Island. This is a unique opportunity as it is only accessible by water and only on Sundays in the Summer season.

Padoga - Paddle, Yoga, Paddle!

A Kayak shack exclusive! Don't miss this one! We paddle over to Valcour Island, find a perfect beach and enjoy a 75 minute yoga session with our Certified Yoga Instructors. Once we are unified with mind, body, and spirit, it's back on the waters of Lake Champlain as we paddle the long way home.

Full Moon Tour

It is a delight to paddle under the stars and watch the full moon rise up over the Green Mountains of Vermont. This 2 hour tour will take you around the coast of Lake Champlain with our guides that will help to light up the night! Bring your deck lights and reflective clothing.

Nature Tour

This easy paced natural history tour will offer the chance to explore flood plain forests, bird life, and near shore plant communities and the Ausable river delta and Lake Champlain shoreline. Trained staff will provide information on observed (and unobserved) native and non-native plants and animals associated with Lake Champlain and Adjacent enviroments. The trip leader has over 20 years of experience as a natural resource educator and researcher, and enjoys both whitewater, and sea kayaking.
